Hand wash

This natural hand wash is scented with a purifying blend of Oakwood & Cedarwood essential oils. A gently cleansing blend that leaves hands refreshed & revitalized.

Vetiver hydrosol is the liquid that remains after distillation of the roots of the Vetiveria zizanoides grass. Vetiver hydrosol has a warm, earthy scent with a hint of musk. The scent is known to have a calming effect on both mind and body.

Aloe vera extract is made by mixing powder from dried Aloe vera gel with water. Aloe vera has proven wound healing and skin improving properties. It is especially nice during burns and after a long day in the sun. It can work well against pimples and wrinkles.

In the East, they have been exploiting the effects of green tea for many thousands of years. Only in recent years has the West opened its eyes to its many positive effects. Green tea is very rich in antioxidants, minerals and amino acids.

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba bush that grows wild in the Amazon and in the desert areas of Mexico and California. The seeds provide about 50% oil which is actually a liquid wax. The Indians have used the oil for cooking, cosmetics and medicine. Jojoba oil normalizes the skin's sebum content and is therefore useful for both oily and dry skin. It has a good effect on wounds, cracked and dry skin. Jojoba oil makes the skin smooth and soft.

Cucumber extract is extracted from cucumber. Cucumber extract is rich in vitamin C and has many good properties. It is a very good moisturizer at the same time as it has a mild cleansing and antiseptic effect on the pores of the skin. Cucumber extract also has a soothing effect on irritated and sore skin. It has good firming properties and is effective against puffy and flaky skin. Cucumber extract has good revitalizing properties on the skin. In the cosmetics industry, it is often used in creams that counteract wrinkles.

Oakwood absolute is extracted from the wood of Quercus robur, the common oak. The oil has a warm, malty aroma with underlying notes of vanilla.

Moroccan Cedarwood is extracted from the Atlas absolute has a rich and warm woody aroma, almost sweet, and is used extensively in perfumery.

Sea Kelp Extract is a member of the brown algae family (phaeophyta) and is packed with antioxidants and minerals. The high content of minerals may have a good effect on dry skin and the antioxidants may contribute to slow down the skin`s aging process.

Glycerin is found in vegetable oils. It has a moisturizing and emollient effect on the skin. It prevents drying out and binds moisture in the outer layer of the skin.

Citric acid is derived from citrus fruits and is mainly used as a preservative. It it also used in small amounts to adjust the pH of products.

Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate is a natural surfactant (foaming ingredient), derived from coconut oil, corn and fruit sugars.

A soft, mild cleansing agent with amphoteric structure meaning that its head contains both a positively and a negatively charged part (surfactants are most commonly anionic meaning their head has a negative charge). It also has great foaming abilities and is recommended for baby products and other non-irritating cleansers.

Cocamidopropyl betaine is derived from coconut oil. It works as a cleanser, conditioner and thickening agent, though it’s primarily a surfactant. Surfactants are ingredients that attract dirt and oil so that you can rinse them off of your skin or hair. It is widely used in hair and skin care products.

Gluconolactone is one of three ingredients in the natural preservative Geogard Ultra. Gluconolactone belongs to a group of acids known as PHAs, poly-hydroxy acids.
